PowerChess club

The PowerChess Club is a dynamic 8-week after-school program designed for students of all skill levels. Whether your child is just learning how the pieces move or already has tournament experience, our trained instructors tailor lessons so that everyone learns something new each week.

Beginners will build a strong foundation through the FUNdamentals of chess—piece movement, checkmating patterns, and essential strategies—while more experienced players will dive deeper into advanced tactics, endgame ideas, and tournament play.

No matter the starting point, every week includes a fun, structured lesson and practice games that help students grow in confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
