Powerchess club Program
Whether your child is brand new to chess or already has experience playing chess, the PowerChess Club After-School Program tailors lessons so every student can grow their skills and play games weekly!
In this program, students will:
♟️Discover the FUNdamentals of chess while playing chess mini-games
♟️Learn piece movement, checkmating patterns, and chess strategies
♟️Develop critical thinking skills, good sportsmanship, and other life skills
♟️Play games weekly to practice skills learned throughout the program
What is included with your student’s registration:
️Premium 1-hour chess instruction weekly from a trained PowerChess instructor

️Ability to win chess prizes!
Tournament Chess Program
The Tournament Chess 6-week After-School Program is designed for students who already have chess experience, including knowledge of how all the pieces move and an understanding of check, checkmate, and stalemate.
In this program, students will:
♟️ Compete in weekly chess tournament games
♟️ Learn advanced checkmating patterns and tactical problem solving
♟️ Explore new opening, middle game, and endgame strategies
♟️ Enhance their overall understanding of chess and competitive play
This program is perfect for students who already know how to play and want to take their game to the next level. Material will be harder than PowerChess Club
